Sweden’s WellAware gives fans a slighter leaner whey protein in Whey 100

Wellaware Nutrition Whey 100

Swedish brand WellAware has a new protein powder out this week to go alongside the many others it already has on the market, including Soy Protein, Vegan Protein, Whey 80, Premium Whey, and Whey/Oat. Whey 100 is the name of the company’s latest supplement, and it is much the same as Whey 80, featuring a whey-based formula, although its nutrition profile is slightly leaner.

The whey concentrate powering WellAware Nutrition’s Whey 100 provides a typical 25g of protein per serving with 4.2g of carbohydrates, 3.5g of that sugar, 2.4g of fat, and a calorie count of 141. For a protein powder relying entirely on whey concentrate, the macros are about what you’d expect, although the brand has put a strong focus on flavor with six tasty options to choose from.

WellAware Nutrition has launched Whey 100 in traditional Chocolate and Vanilla flavors, the fruity options Strawberry and Banana, and the less common flavors, Iced Coffee and Salted Caramel. The supplement comes in an 850g bag, and directly from the brand’s online store, it’ll cost you 299 kr (30.73 USD), the same as a 1kg bag of WellAware’s own and very similar, Whey 80.
