Japanese brand Alpron has kicked off the month of July with not one but two flavor extensions, both for the same supplement in its weight-loss supporting protein powder Weight Down. The product itself relies entirely on soy isolate for around 20g of protein in a 45g serving alongside a balanced carbohydrate count of around 21g, under a gram of fat, and a light 300mg of carnitine.
Alpron’s Weight Down previously came in three intriguing flavors, all far from your traditional chocolate and vanilla in Lemon Yogurt, Cassis Grapefruit, White Peach, and Mixed Berries. The brand’s latest flavors for its meal replacement-style Weight Down are more on the common side with the straightforward recipes, Chocolate and Banana, packing a similar sort of nutrition profile.
Bags of Chocolate and Banana Weight Down can already be found and purchased directly from Alpron’s online store in 1kg bags at a currently discounted ¥2,580 (19.08 USD).
