European retailer and absolutely giant brand XXL Nutrition has put together a supplement that is not your typical pre-workout, amino cocktail, or protein powder. XXL is introducing After Party this month, which is an easy-to-take capsule product specifically designed to fight the uncomfortable side effects that come with a hangover after a late night drinking.
The way After Party from XXL Nutrition works is you take it before bed, after your night out, and not only does it help get you to sleep, thanks to its inclusion of melatonin and tryptophan. Alongside that is a mix of B vitamins, vitamin E, and the antioxidant vitamin C to reduce fatigue, coQ10, acetyl-l-carnitine, and s-adenosyl-l-methionine and milk thistle to support liver health.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a sports nutrition brand release a hangover-curing or supporting supplement, but it’s still incredibly rare, with XXL Nutrition’s After Party being the first since Build Fast Formula’s Drink Hack. The product is available from the brand’s website, and it’s pretty cost-effective at €29.95 (30.53 USD) for a bottle of 60 single-capsule servings.
