Big Boy begins offering cheaper and more eco-friendly options for most of its products

Big Boy Eco Friendly Options

The Czech Republic-based functional food company Big Boy, which makes an interesting selection of products, including nut butters, bars, chocolate-covered treats, and even popcorn, has made itself that bit more eco-friendly. There is now an additional packaging option when you buy some of the brand’s bulk functional foods from its direct-to-consumer online store at bigboy.cz.

Previously Big Boy packaged the majority of its products in plastic jars and containers, even its larger nut butters, although its smaller offerings come in glass jars. Now, if you decide to grab any of those plastic packaged items, you’re given the choice of it coming in the same style container or an environmentally friendly paper bag, which can be easily poured into another container.

The eco-friendly option obviously requires fans and followers to make the decision, although to encourage picking the paper bag over the plastic jar, the former is slightly cheaper. A one-kilogram peanut butter from Big Boy usually costs 259 Kč (10.57 USD), although if you go for the eco alternative, it drops to 189 Kč (7.71 USD), a significant discount, working out to around 27% cheaper.
