Enlightened dips berries in delicious stevia-sweetened dark and white chocolate

Enlightened Fruit Bites

Enlightened is one of the more creative companies in the frozen functional food space, coming out with healthy approaches to more formats than anyone else we’ve seen. The brand has done high-protein and keto-friendly ice creams, ice cream bars, low-net-carbohydrate cookies, cookie dough bites with keto-style macros, classic sundae cones, and one of our favorites, miniature cheesecakes now available in nine different flavors.

Enlightened is expanding its family of delicious functional foods this month with another new format, introducing Fruit Bites. They are bags of blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries that have been dipped in stevia-sweetened white chocolate and dark chocolate. The product does need to be kept frozen but can be eaten right out of the bag, although you may not want to put it back when you hear how low the macros are.

The all-new Fruit Bites from Enlightened have just 180 calories a bag, from 15g of fat, 3g of protein, 2 to 3g of net carbohydrates, with only 1 to 2g of that sugar. As far as light and enjoyable snacks go, this is right there, and knowing the brand that makes it, it’ll taste great. According to Enlightened, the product is out now at the major supermarket Sprouts in 3oz (88g) bags, which is a lot of delicious berries for only 180 calories.
