Bucked Up holds the calories under 200 in its high-protein Buck Bar

Bucked Up Buck Bar

Bucked Up’s long-awaited Buck Bar has arrived, going live and becoming available for purchase first through its online store over at buckedup.com. The price of the product is relatively typical for a protein snack at $29.95 for a box of a dozen, working out to about $2.50 each. There is no variety pack, so if you grab a box, it’ll be all one flavor in either, Chocolate Chip, Cookies and Cream, Cinnamon Cookie, or Fruity Cereal.

We had seen a few highlights for Bucked Up’s Buck Bar confirming some of its key macros, although now that it’s available, we can tell you the exact nutrition profiles, and they’re more impressive than expected. The protein in any flavor of the Buck Bar is 16g, similar to the likes of the hit Outright Protein Bar, and while they are made with similar ingredients, the other numbers are where things get quite different.

The 16g of protein sits alongside 6 to 7g of fat, 13 to 16g of net carbohydrates with 8 to 10g of that sugar, and a lean calorie count of 180, or 170 for the Cookies and Cream flavor. That protein-to-calorie ratio is what stands out the most, as bars like this, made with peanuts, whey, honey, wheat, and a few other ingredients, don’t have calories under or even close to 200, so we’re interested to see how the Buck Bar tastes.

Once again, Bucked Up’s online store at buckedup.com is the place to go to get your hands on the all-new Buck Bar at $29.95. Ongoing coupon codes from the brand’s many athletes and ambassadors do still work, getting you 20% off and bringing Bucked Up’s first-ever protein snack down to a truly competitive $23.96, which is essentially $2 a piece.
