Pure Protein rolls out a second snack bar featuring a nut base and moderate protein

Pure Protein Nut Bars

Pure Protein recently introduced a Quest Candy Bar-like treat with Candy Bar Bites, featuring an absolutely delicious-looking experience, moderate protein, low sugar, and reasonable calories. It turns out that’s not all the mainstream protein brand has introduced in the month of October; it actually has a second protein-packed snack with Pure Protein Nut Bars.

The all-new Nut Bars from Pure Protein are essentially what they call themselves; a nut-based snack bar, and, of course, coming from the brand that they do, they have a protein twist. The product features that classic nut bar build of a solid base, a nut-filled main body, then squiggles of flavor across the top, as you can see up close in the image below.

Pure Protein Nut Bars

Pure Protein’s Nut Bars aren’t as nutritionally lean as some of its other high-protein items, although that is to be expected when peanuts or almonds are the main ingredients. The moderately sized 45g snack has a relatively low 10g of protein, 14g of fat, 18 to 19g of carbohydrates, with the sugar kept somewhat low at 4 to 5g, and 180 to 200 calories.

The variance in macros is because the Pure Protein Nut Bars change from flavor to flavor, with two options in Caramel Almond Sea Salt and the higher calorie Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate. Like the Candy Bar Bites, the Nut Bars are available first from Amazon, and while they’re not as high in protein as your typical bar, they are cost-effective at $12.49 for a box of ten.
