Clean Gainer gives Rule One a lean or entry-level supplement in the mass gainer space

Rule One Protein Clean Gainer

Rule One Proteins has launched its latest sports nutrition innovation, and it is exactly what we suspected, based on the few hints and clues, with a lean and nutritious gainer. The supplement is officially titled Clean Gainer, which is along the same lines as the brand’s recently revamped and relaunched Mass Gainer, but with a lighter ratio of protein-to-carbohydrates, hence the description of a lean gainer.

Rule One Protein’s Clean Gainer comes with 30g of protein per serving from a blend of whey concentrate, whey isolate, milk isolate, and micellar casein. Next is the carbohydrates at a hefty 99g from maltodextrin, quinoa, rice bran, and oat fiber. That amount of carbs is obviously much higher than the protein but still nowhere near the balance of Rule One’s Mass Gainer at 40g of protein to 254g of carbs.

As for the rest of Rule One Protein’s Clean Gainer nutrition profile, you get a low 5g of fat from MCTs, flaxseed, and avocado powder, and 560 calories. While the brand does already have plenty of different protein-based supplements available, Clean Gainer fills that lean gainer gap. It is something Rule One didn’t have, working as an entry-level gainer for before diving into its more calorie-dense competitors.

Clean Gainer is available first through Rule One Proteins’ online store, and as per usual, to celebrate the arrival of the new product the brand is running a strong introductory sale. For a limited time, instead of paying $49.99, you’ll pay $37.49 for a full-size 15-serving tub of Clean Gainer in four flavors, including classics like Chocolate Fudge and Vanilla Creme, and Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Cookies & Creme.
