The 2023 edition of the Protein Wars, brought to you by Nutrition21’s Velositol, to double the power of your protein, has kicked off today, with the always intense opening round now live at proteinwars.com. The aim of the competition is to find the most popular supplement in the saturated protein powder category with our audience, and we spend four weeks doing so. The opening round has over 100 products to vote on, and at the end of it all, we take the most-voted 16 entries into the second round.
You can head to proteinwars.com to submit your vote, where you’ll find a list of all of the entries, and you can only vote once, so be sure to choose wisely. All of the pre-entered protein powders are in alphabetical order, brand first, followed by the name of the supplement, making it easier to find your favorite. There is also a section for you to enter a product that isn’t on the list, and those custom entries will be grouped and counted at the end, and that can indeed progress a competitor through to round two.
Round one of the Protein Wars brought to you by Nutrition21’s Velositol is running right through until midnight this coming Sunday, giving you the whole week to get over to proteinwars.com and show your support for the protein powder you use. Next Monday, that second round goes down, with the semifinals coming exactly one week later; then in three weeks, we’ll have the grand final, putting the two remaining supplements against one another to potentially crown a returning or completely new champion.
