Quamtrax gives its latest protein snack a thick chocolate base and crumbly brownie top

Quamtrax Protein Brownie

Quamtrax Nutrition is one the many sports nutrition brands out in Europe that goes hard in the category of functional food, offering a selection of protein snacks and better-for-you treats that’s wider than almost all of the functional food companies in North America. The Spanish brand’s latest innovation is rather self-explanatory in the Quamtrax Protein Brownie, although the eating experience on this will be different from the many brownie-style snacks here in the US from the likes of Bowmar, Redcon1, and Alpha Prime.

The Quamtrax Protein Brownie is made from decadent dark chocolate, cocoa butter, almond powder, soy and milk protein, egg powder, and collagen, all combining to provide a moderate 6.9g of protein in a snack-sized 43g brownie. The other numbers filling out the product’s nutrition profile aren’t supremely low with that almost 7g of protein bringing with it 4.3g of carbohydrates, 1.4g of that sugar, a high 10g of fat, at least high considering the protein and carbs, and all ending on a rather fair calorie count of 172.

Quamtrax Nutrition squeezes those macros into a mouthwatering block that has a rich, decadent, and dense chocolate base, then you get the smoother brownie layer on top of that, and in between it all are crispy protein pieces, with everything rolled into a pocket-sized block that could probably crush most cravings.

As mentioned, Quamtrax Nutrition has a ridiculously large selection of functional foods on the market, and this one comes in as simply another way its fans and followers can get some extra protein into their diet or fulfill a sugar craving with something that feels like dessert but without the over-the-top nutrition. The Quamtrax Protein Brownie is out now in the brand’s home country of Spain and neighboring European markets in individual packs and boxes of ten in the one traditional Chocolate Brownie flavor.
