SmartSweets promises to have made its low-sugar gummy candy fruitier and juicier

Smartsweets New And Improved 2024 Recipe

One of, if not the most known player in the better-for-you candy space, SmartSweets has completely reworked its signature treat, updating the recipe in an attempt to offer a better eating experience that sounds much more enjoyable from what’s been said. The brand is claiming its almost no sugar flagship gummy candy selection has been made fruitier and juicier, hitting on both sides of the coin: the candy-like texture and sugar-like taste.

Being the brand that it is, SmartSweets has done all of this without sacrificing its core principals of keeping the sugar to an absolute minimum and the calories to as low as possible. The updated recipe has been applied to four of the brand’s best-selling varieties to start in Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, Sour Blast Buddies, and the Swedish Fish-like Sweet Fish. SmartSweets has also made sure you know what you’re getting and that you can tell the updated version apart from its predecessor by putting a “new and improved” stamp on the front.

To give you an idea of the nutrition in the updated SmartSweets gummy candies, the macros on the revamped Peach Rings has no fat or protein, 40g of carbohydrates, only 3g of that sugar, no added sugar, ending on a calorie count of 130. That is fewer carbs and more calories per bag than the last iteration of Peach Rings, but again, this is all in the name of a better eating experience. The marginal shift in nutrition won’t be a problem for most fans as the sugar remains at 3g and you’re said to be getting that fruitier and juicier experience.
