In the last couple of weeks, we got a great look at the return of Vaughn Walker’s functional food company Vaughn’s Treats. The brand started its journey with a Rice Krispies Treats-style protein snack providing a moderate 10g of protein per piece in your choice of Fruity Cereal and Original Mallow flavors. It turns out that the original protein bar won’t be making its way back to market any time soon, as Vaughn’s Treats has confirmed it is relaunching with the completely new product we recently got a glimpse of.
Vaughn Walker and Vaughn’s Treats is returning to market in the very near future with Protein Pretzels, a pocket-sized bag of crunchy pretzels that are covered in delicious chocolate and true to its name, it is high in protein at 12g. That is obviously a touch more than Vaughn’s Treats Rice Krispies-like protein bar, 20% more, and the sugar is also nice and low. The launch of Protein Pretzels is right around the corner, and we have another detail to confirm outside of that, becoming the brand’s only product.
In that initial sneak peek at Protein Pretzels, Vaughn Walker and Vaughn’s Treats shared a single flavor in Milk Chocolate, obviously covering the crunchy, high-protein pretzels in delicious milk chocolate. When the intriguing snack eventually comes to life in what sounds like the coming weeks, there will indeed be another flavor. Vaughn’s Treats is planning on debuting its second-ever higher-protein food in two tastes, just like its Rice Krispies Treats protein bar in Milk Chocolate and a sweeter White Chocolate.
