About one year ago, the mainstream protein brand Pure Protein expanded the menu of its soft and smooth protein bar with two rather intriguing efforts in Caramel Churro, based on the traditional dessert of the same name, and Galactic Brownie covered in galactic sprinkles. A year later, almost to the day, we have the brand back in headlines regarding those same two products, or at least the flavors, as it has taken those two tastes and turned them into something you can drink and get a healthy dose of protein.
Caramel Churro and Galactic Brownie flavors have been produced for Pure Protein’s signature ready-to-drink offering, the Pure Protein Shake. They aim to provide the same sort of experience as the original Caramel Churro and Galactic Brownie Protein Bars but as sweet, thick, and smooth beverages. The nutrition of the protein RTD is far better than Pure Protein’s bar, and you see that in these two, with 30g of protein a bottle, 6 to 7g of carbohydrates, under a gram of sugar, 1 to 1.5g of fat, and 140 calories.
The familiar and, at the same time, new Caramel Churro and Galactic Brownie Pure Protein Shakes are available for purchase at Walmart in the brand’s usual boxes of four bottles, working out to well under $2 a drink for a total of $7.48.
