Barebells turns a Christmas classic into a flavor of its soft and smooth protein bar

Barebells Gingerbread Soft Protein Bar

Barebells has a long-standing tradition of coming out with a special edition flavor for the season of giving; this is on top of the custom advent calendars it’s been doing in more recent years. There was Mint Dark Chocolate, Xmas Fudge, which eventually became Crunchy Fudge, and the Fluffy Marshmallow Soft Protein Bar, also eventually became permanent as Marshmallow Rocky Road. The US market recently landed its own holiday edition protein bar in Peppermint Bark, and now it is Europe’s turn.

Barebells has revealed and released a completely new flavor of its increasingly popular Soft Protein Bar, the competitor from the Swedish functional food innovator that drops the protein slightly compared to its signature protein snack in favor of a softer, smoother consistency. The taste the brand has created for the happy, festive Christmas season is Gingerbread, inspired by the traditional treat of the same name, but coming from Barebells, it is a protein-packed snack providing a solid 16g per piece.

The newest Barebells creation promises a classic balance of Christmas spices, doing the Gingerbread name justice, featuring a gooey top layer, a milk chocolate covering, and again, a respectable 16g of protein a piece, 17g of carbohydrates, just 2g of that sugar, 8.8g of fat, and 200 calories. As fans of Barebells know, generally, it drops most of its innovations first in its local Swedish market, and that is the case with the Gingerbread Soft Protein Bar, as it’s exclusive to Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
