Old School covers all the bases in its newest premium pre-workout Blast X

Old School Labs Blast X

The newest and premium pre-workout from Old School Labs has been unveiled after being teased a couple of weeks ago. This is separate from the golden-era bodybuilding brand’s mainstream pre-workout Vintage Blast and its previously high-end competitor, Blast Max. Old School hasn’t stacked this one with as many branded ingredients as Blast Max or other premium pre-workouts; it’s opted for a closely lengthy list of components, all at sizeable dosages for a comprehensive experience.

Old School Labs’ Blast X pre-workout is built for all of the core effects, from energy and focus to pumps and performance, with an eerily similar balance to Blast Max, but again, not as many premium ingredients, more standard compounds at hefty dosages. Starting with the pump and performance side, Blast X has plenty in support with 6g of straight citrulline, a gram of agmatine, 2.5g of betaine, and the performance pushers beta-alanine at 4g, a gram of taurine, and a variety of electrolytes.

The rest of the formula in the upcoming Blast X pre-workout from Old School Labs is for energy and focus, including the nootropics tyrosine at a sizeable 3g and choline bitartrate at 2g, the Citrafuze blend at 20mg, and 150mg of theobromine. There is, of course, a hit of caffeine at a fairly strong 325mg from a couple of sources in natural caffeine and the slower-acting zumXR microencapsulated caffeine.

Old School Labs Blast X Label

Blast X is clearly a more premium pre-workout compared to Old School Labs’ original Vintage Blast, but we’d say it’s close in complexity to Blast Max. It has a broader set of ingredients without as many premium features, although the balance is very similar. There is a bit more pump support in Blast Max with its reliable NO3-T nitrates and fewer stimulants, putting Blast X between Vintage Blast and Blast Max, and leaning slightly to that higher-end position, especially with its price tag.

Old School Labs is launching its newest pre-workout innovation, Blast X, shortly through oldschoollabs.com, and price wise it’ll fall right in between Vintage Blast at $39.99 for a tub of 20 servings and Blast Max at $59.99 for the same amount of maximum workouts. Currently, Blast X is listed at $49.99 in the brand’s online store, for that consistent 20 full servings, and there are three flavors to choose, only one of the traditional in Blue Raspberry, Strawberry Watermelon, and Blueberry Lemonade.
