Muscle Moose takes another shot at the protein powder space with a much bigger competitor

Muscle Moose Supreme Protein

We just saw the UK brand Muscle Moose get deeper into sports nutrition with its first-ever pre-workout in the moderately dosed category-named Pre-Workout. The energy drink maker made a protein powder years prior called Protein Shake, and now it is following up that pre-workout and original protein supplement with another for the muscle-building space. New to market, hot on the heels of Pre-Workout, is Supreme Protein, which is very similar nutritionally to the previously released Protein Shake.

Muscle Moose’s Supreme Protein mostly separates itself from the already available Protein Shake by way of size, value, and sources of protein. Instead of a mix of whey and milk concentrate, the brand uses whey concentrate, soy isolate, and skimmed milk for its latest entry in the protein powder category, but again, the nutrition balance is somewhat similar. In a 30g serving of Supreme Protein, you get 20g of protein, a somewhat high 5 to 6g of carbohydrates, just over a gram of fat, and calories of 113 or 114.

Again, the macros are much the same as Muscle Moose’s original Protein Shake, and it comes in the same three flavors with the classic pair of Chocolate and Vanilla, and a sweet and fruity Strawberry. The other significant difference in this one, as mentioned, is the value, where Protein Shake only came in a 400g bag, Supreme Protein has a much larger 1.8kg pouch. The newer supplement carries a cost of £42.99 (53.63 USD), working out to a saving of 44% when directly comparing the price to size.
