Optimum makes a Cafe Latte flavor of its Gold Standard Shake with real coffee and caffeine

Optimum Cafe Latte Gold Standard Shake

Optimum Nutrition is continuing the growth of its convenient Gold Standard Protein Shake, after debuting the reliable, nutritious, and tasty beverage a little more than two years ago. The legendary sports nutrition brand is giving back to the product here in the early stages of 2025 by way of a fourth flavor. As a quick refresher, the product packs 24g of quality whey-powered protein per shake, added vitamins and minerals, respectably low carbohydrates and fat at around 3g a piece, practically no sugar, and the calories landing in and around a moderate 150.

Now available alongside Optimum Nutrition’s other flavors of the Gold Standard Protein Shake in Chocolate, Vanilla, and the more recent Strawberry, is Cafe Latte. It is, obviously a coffee-theme creation made with actual coffee for an authentic taste and that does in turn come with a bit of caffeine at 58mg per beverage. It’s interesting to see Optimum go from the classic tastes to something fruity and now a coffee experience, and if you want to get your hands on it as soon as possible, drop the brand’s website and grab a case of 12 at a very reasonable $23.99.
