Australia gets its own Grape flavor of Ghost Energy different from the Welch’s collab

Grape Ghost Energy Drink In Australia

Fans of the Ghost Energy Drink and energy drinks in general will already be familiar with the authentic Welch’s Grape flavor of the functional beverage. The sports nutrition company first did the flavor for its pre-workout Ghost Legend, then for its recovery-supporting amino supplement, Ghost Amino. Welch’s Grape was eventually brought to the Ghost Energy Drink, and now available in Australia and New Zealand, is a grape flavor, but it’s not Welch’s.

At retailers in that part of the world, like ASN and Elite Supplements in Australia, and Sports Fuel and Sprint Fit in New Zealand, there is a Grape Ghost Energy Drink, and it features a different flavor profile from the authentic Welch’s Grape we have here in the US. While it may seem obvious that a beverage with Welch’s on the label and one without don’t taste the same, we can imagine someone thinking the opposite since Ghost does make a Welch’s flavor.

We thought it’d be worth reaching out to the brand itself to confirm that the Grape Ghost Energy Drink in Australia and New Zealand is different from that of the original Welch’s Grape in the US. As mentioned, if you’re an energy drink collector or just a fan of the brand, then you’ll want to hunt this one down, as it’s not something you can get in America, similar to the Original Lemon Lime and Blue Raspberry Ghost Energy Drinks, also only available down under.
