After running into a few issues with the original text-to-voice system for post pages here at Stack3d, we’ve implemented a new audio solution. It now includes a short load time due to on-demand loading, but it clearly reads and communicates the content without interruption. We know many readers use the feature, whether it’s their preferred method of communication or because they’re doing other things, and we’re glad we’ve finally updated it back to complete working condition.
We built this version to be smoother and more reliable, prioritizing performance even if it means a brief delay before playback. It’s not perfect yet, but as we do with everything we introduce here at Stack3d, big or small, we continue to improve and refine it over time.
