Atlhetica drops an all-new protein powder that relies on collagen, pea and whey

Atlhetica Nutrition Pure Blend

Atlhetica Nutrition in Brazil is home to all sorts of health and nutrition supplements, including its signature protein-specific series, Best Whey, with a huge variety of solutions. It has your standard protein powder, premium isolate, unique flavors, and several functional foods. Best Whey is arguably the star of the brand’s catalog, but it does have many other items available, and starting this month, that includes the separate protein powder, Pure Blend 100% Protein.

The newest protein powder from Atlhetica Nutrition is very different from anything else it has in the category, and it all comes down to the cost and sources of protein. While all of the Best Whey products rely entirely on whey, Pure Blend 100% Protein has a blend that is only partially whey. The blend gives consumers 25g of protein per serving on this one, and that is from hydrolyzed bovine collagen, pea isolate, and the smallest source, standard whey protein.

The alternative approach to formula, relying mostly on non-whey sources, results in a lean nutrition profile with just 2g of carbohydrates, around half a gram of fat, and about 115 calories. The ingredients also play a big role in the price, as Pure Blend 100% Protein is highly cost-effective. From Atlhetica Nutrition’s retail partners in Brazil, you can snatch up the supplement for only R$240 (42.49 USD) for a 4lb bag of roughly 56 servings in three flavors.
