Long gone are the days when a sports nutrition company had just the one pre-workout to choose from; it is significantly more common in the modern market to have three or more, and usually, one of those is a stimulant-free solution. The Danish powerhouse Bodylab has launched exactly that this week with Pre-Workout Stim-Free, a spin-off of its long-running and extensively flavored Pre-Workout featuring 100mg of caffeine per serving.
Bodylab’s newest innovation doesn’t change the formula that much from the original Pre-Workout; in fact, it changes just two or three things. Pre-Workout Stim-Free has all of the same key components as, with the likes of 1.2g of straight citrulline for pumps, a gram of beta-alanine for performance, and 600mg of arginine. The one thing missing is the 100mg of energizing caffeine, which has been replaced by splashes of green tea and ginseng.
Pre-Workout Stim-Free from Bodylab is essentially the original Pre-Workout minus caffeine, as you’d expect with “Stim-Free” attached to the name. It doesn’t have anywhere near as many flavors to choose from in just Lemon Lime, and while it costs the same at 179DKK, there is an introductory sale on right now, dropping it to 119DKK.
