GNC is discounting energy drinks and protein bars to 90 cents for its anniversary

Gnc 90 Years 90 Cent Sales

The giant specialty retailer GNC is celebrating 90 years, which is an incredible milestone, and it is very real with the company getting into business almost a century ago, at nine complete decades. That is beyond the age of any sports nutrition company out there and to do that anniversary justice, it is offering one hell of a sale. GNC is stepping up on the frequent dollar energy drinks and protein bars we’ve seen it did as well as The Vitamin Shoppe.

For the next nine weeks, fitting, of course, for GNC’s 90th birthday, the retailer is doing week-long deals on a particular brand and functional product, like an energy drink or protein bar. That deal, regardless of the items in the spotlight, is going to drop to a price of 90 cents. It is just a pinch under the dollar mark, but being that it falls into the cents realm, it comes across as a whole lot more attractive, especially for these sorts of products.

First up in the celebratory string of sales is Chris Bumsted’s Bum Energy Drink, our current reigning Clash Of The Cans champion. It is only available in select GNC locations, so ring ahead before going in specifically for that, and there is a limit of six per person, which makes sense at 90 cents. The promotion is running until Wednesday of next week, at which point, another brand and drink or bar will take the position of the 90 cent product.
