Major Brazilian brand Mu makes its RTD debut in the moderate protein Mulkshake

Mu Milkshake Protein Rtd

Mais Mu, more simply known as Mu, is a popular protein brand in Brazil that can be found in all the places you need it, in specialty retailers, big box retailers, and convenience. It makes a large selection of edible protein snacks as well as a few sports nutrition supplements, like protein powder and creatine. One of the popular spaces it had yet to hit was ready-to-drink protein, and it has done that this month, introducing the Mu Mulkshake.

The first-ever protein beverage from Mu isn’t supremely high in protein, packing 12g in a 250ml tetra pack, from whole milk and whey concentrate. The carbohydrates are not too far away from that, at 8g a shake and 2g of fat, leading to a calorie count of 100. It’s not as lean as you can get in a premixed protein shake, like Bucked Up’s Carbonated Protein Drink at 25g of protein to 100 calories, although it’s not bad for a mainstream effort.

The Mu Mulkshake has debuted in five flavors: the classic Chocolate and Vanilla, a coffee-themed Cappuccino, a sweet fruit-based Strawberry, and lastly, a dessert-style Coconut Caramel. You can pick up the cleverly named Mulkshake straight from the brand’s online store for a low R$96.79 (17.48 USD) for a pack of 12, and it will be heading out to Mu’s retail partners, which, as mentioned, are pretty extensive in its local Brazilian market.
