Protein Bargain Wholesale is one of the largest distributors in the United Kingdom, carrying a host of brands like Alpha Lion, Cellucor, Applied Nutrition, Grenade, Trained By JP Nutrition, HR Labs, and Conteh Sports. The umbrella company behind Protein Bargain, the PB Group, also owns a few notable competitors in that market, including the protein bar specialist Mountain Joe’s, the protein powder powerhouse Per4m, and now the legacy name CNP.
The PB Group has announced this week that it has officially acquired the incredibly long-running CNP, which has been in business for almost three decades, hitting the market just before the turn of the century. Over the years, it has brought many well-known supplements to shelves all across the UK as well as Europe. More recently, CNP has reinvigorated itself and revamped its presence, breathing new life into the line and encouraging even faster innovation.
The PB Group is building quite a stable of brands alongside its distribution business at Protein Bargain Wholesale, with Mountain Joe’s, Per4m, and now CNP. We look forward to seeing how the partnership grows and expands from here, but it doesn’t appear to have affected any releases. CNP has still been keeping pace with what we usually see, if not more, including an intriguing and limited edition flavor of last year’s reformulated pre-workout, Full Tilt V2.
