Zone makes an energy drink with legendary UFO stir-fried noodles that’s sour and spicy

Ufo Zone Energy Drink

Japanese energy drink company Zone has collaborated with a fellow mainstream brand that you can also find in convenience stores, although it’s an edible item. Zone has joined forces with the popular instant stir-fried noodle dish Nissin UFO Yakisoba, said to be commonly consumed with an energy drink. To capitalize on that, the two have launched a UFO Zone Energy Drink in its sleek and stylish 400ml aluminum bottle.

The flavor of the collaboration does not match that of Nissin UFO Yakisoba, as you could imagine, the savory taste of stir-fry noodles would be tough to work into an energy drink. The brand has still put something completely new and different in there with a sour and spicy taste, said to rival that of the signature UFO sauce. It certainly sounds like an incredibly unique experience, and it does come with plenty of carbs and calories.

In the 400ml bottle of the UFO Zone Energy Drink, you get 49.2g of carbohydrates, the majority of which is sugar at 44.4g, a calorie count of 200, and energizing caffeine at the brand’s usual 150mg. There is a promotion around the collaboration, too, where the beverage and bowls of Nissin UFO Yakisoba can earn you points. Once you’ve collected enough, you can then redeem those for custom thermal pots and special edition tees.
