Celsius in Sweden follows the same performance and lifestyle goals as its US counterpart, but with a slightly different formula, ingredient set, and range of flavors. The Swedish version features green tea, guarana, vitamins, the same 200mg of caffeine for energy, and zero sugar. For a time, Sweden was the one getting creative flavors ahead of America, although over the last couple of years, that trend has started to shift the other way.
Further reflecting that shift, this month, Swedish fans of the beverage are getting the six-month-old Retro Vibe Celsius Energy Drink as a limited-time offering. The flavor debuted in the US near the end of last year, and here it delivers the same sweet, sparkling taste described as Sorbet Slush. Retro Vibe joins the international Celsius menu as a short-run launch and will be rolling out to all usual stockists of the energy drink throughout the country.
