Supr is one of the many functional companies out in India, having an impact and raising the bar, putting protein into different formats, beyond the traditional powder and bars. The brand has its own take on the popular Indian snack makhana with added hydrolyzed soy protein as well as a clear protein beverage. The latter is its flagship offering, Supr Water, and it is a well-presented, well-rounded on-the-go option.
The colorful Supr Water packs 24g of protein per bottle, and the primary source is high-end Lacprodan whey isolate, with just a gram of carbohydrates, none of it sugar. It is worth noting that the Indian brand has added BCAAs, although there is no mention of whether or not they’re being counted towards that total amount of protein. Supr does call out the BCAA level as a benefit on the front, saying it has 7g of the all-important amino acids per bottle, which is more than Lacprodan has naturally occurring.
Keeping with the theme of clear and refreshing protein supplements, powder or beverage, Supr Water is exclusively available in sweet and light, fruit-themed flavors. There are three of them currently on the market in Grape Frost, Lemonade, and Berry Blast. As with most health and nutrition products in India, Supr Water is incredibly cost-effective, with its website selling packs of 12, working out to ₹191 (2.18 USD) each.
