Superyou in India goes from protein snacks to protein powder in a yeast-based competitor

Superyou Yeast Protein Powder

Superyou in India was previously a functional-only company that had a light and crispy wafer-style protein bar in a variety of flavors and protein chips packing 10g of protein per bag with a respectable 165 calories. The brand has now gone and put protein into a more traditional format, one of the most conventional formats in the health and nutrition industry, with the Superyou Pro Yeast Protein.

Interestingly, Superyou has not made its first-ever protein powder with your standard whey, casein, or any common plant-based source. The newly released Superyou Pro Yeast Protein is indeed made with fermented yeast protein, which is rare, but not the first of its kind, like the brand has claimed. The supplement relies on yeast for 24g of protein per serving, 4g of carbohydrates, less than half a gram of that sugar, 1.2g of fat, and 124 calories.

While fermented yeast protein is not common, it is a high-quality way to go, being a complete protein source with all nine EAAs and a protein absorption score equal to that of the legendary whey. Superyou Pro Yeast Protein has debuted in two flavors with a classic Chocolate and an authentic Cold Coffee in 1kg bags, and it does look like more flavors are coming with Masala Chai and Unflavored previewed.
