Vitamin Shoppe brand BodyTech blends hefty dosages and value in its new Solid Pre

Bodytech Solid Pre

BodyTech is the reputable house brand from The Vitamin Shoppe, and it does a damn good job in the various categories it competes in. We saw just how advanced and potent BodyTech can genuinely get early last year with the powerhouse premium pre-workout Altered Savage. The brand is back innovating in the pre-workout department again, but with a more cost-effective approach in the newly released Solid Pre.

The Vitamin Shoppe and BodyTech’s Solid Pre looks to be as comprehensive as Altered Savage, although with a simpler set of ingredients and dosages, with an appropriate price tag to match. The cost of the product is $34.99, which is right around the many other value-focused pre-workouts that have come to market recently. It sits just over the $30 mark, and that’s for a tub of 20 maximum servings or 40 half servings.

Bodytech Solid Pre Label

The formula powering Solid Pre is a lot more robust than you’d expect, and that’s compared to others fighting it out on the cost-effective side of pre-workouts. For pumps, there is a huge 10g of pure citrulline and 2.5g of betaine, 2g of taurine, the quality electrolyte source pink Himalayan salt, and 3.2g of beta-alanine for performance. Rounding things out to drive energy and focus is 300mg of alpha-gpc, a gram of tyrosine, and, of course, a strong 400mg of caffeine.

As far as supplements go in the pre-workout category around that $30 range, Solid Pre from The Vitamin Shoppe and BodyTech is one of the best you’ll come across. The 10g of straight citrulline is a rarely seen dosage, and that’s just one of the highlights in the product. Again, the latest from the house brand is available from Vitamin Shoppe at $34.99, where you have two flavors in Fruit Punch and White Sour Gummy.
