Newcomer Gen IQ follows its creatine with a premium hydration supplement

Gen Iq Hydra Mag

Newcomer Gen IQ made its debut with the straightforward Creatine Monohydrate, putting an emphasis on the ingredient’s cognitive support, not its usual strength and performance benefits. The brand has now expanded its catalog with Hydra Mag, a hydration-focused supplement built to optimize recovery, mental function, and performance. It comes in convenient stick packs, mixes easily with water, and has debuted in a refreshing Lemon Lime flavor.

The main feature of Gen IQ’s Hydra Mag is its triple magnesium complex, which has three forms of the key mineral with magnesium threonate, glycinate, and malate. We’re not sure of the amounts per serving, as the brand doesn’t have the nutrition facts panel online, but it does claim the supplement has three times the electrolytes of the leading sports drink. The formula also incorporates Baja Gold-branded sea salt, contributing to that heft electrolyte total, all combining to support hydration, performance, recovery, cognition, sleep, stress, and more.

Hydra Mag is a fitting extension to Gen IQ after it started out with a bulk unflavored creatine. The hydration category has almost become a compulsory place to be in for sports nutrition companies, where we’ve seen far more innovation and entries than the other classic intra-workout category of amino acids. Like its creatine, Hydra Mag is available straight from Gen IQ’s online store, where you’ll pay a premium $49.99 for a bag of 25 servings.
