ProPOP combines whey isolate and collagen for its refreshing sparkling protein drink

Introducing Propop Protein Soda

Sparkling protein drinks or protein sodas have been gradually increasing in popularity, especially since last year they were very much considered a rarity. Both established brands and newcomers to the industry have been getting in on the concept, one of the new names being ProPOP. The fresh new face makes a light and refreshing ready-to-drink protein that comes packaged in a slim and sleek 12oz can with a lean nutrition profile led by 20g of protein.

While most clear protein supplements and drinks entirely utilize the classic complete protein source whey isolate, ProPOP has gone a combination in its debut innovation with whey isolate and collagen, providing that 20g of protein a can. The brand doesn’t say how much comes from each of the sources, but whey isolate is the primary provider. The other macros are 4g of carbohydrates, all of which is cane sugar, zero fat, and a calorie count of 100.

Propop Sparkling Protein Water

While on paper, ProPOP is similar to other clear and refreshing sodas we’ve seen, it always comes down to the actual taste, and with a splash of cane sugar in this one, we imagine it delivers on taste. There are two flavors available, both fruit-themed in Orange Grapefruit and Mango Peach, which can be purchased straight from the brand’s website. On propopbev.com, you’ll pay a pricey $55.99 (40.16 USD), and it doesn’t get better if you double up for the 24 piece bundle.
