Japanese powerhouse finally gives its 30g protein drink a second flavor

Savas Cafe Latte Milk Protein

SAVAS in Japan is absolutely everywhere, no matter the convenience store chain or even vending machine, the health and nutrition brand has a presence. The power and distribution make it so that some form of protein beverage or bar is always a five-minute walk away. The even better part about SAVAS is that it has a ridiculous amount of ready-to-drink protein supplements to choose from, whether it be ingredients, nutrition balance, or flavor.

Our favorite beverage from SAVAS is the signature Milk Protein Drink, but in its 30g protein version, where you indeed get 30g of quality protein in a 430ml carton. Previously, there weren’t all that many tastes to choose from; in fact, there was only one in a standard Cocoa or Chocolate. This week, the brand is finally rolling out a second with Cafe Latte, made with actual coffee for an authentic experience, although you don’t get any caffeine from it.

The macros on the new Cafe Latte SAVAS Milk Protein Drink are about the same as the Cocoa in 30g of milk-based protein, 18.5g of carbohydrates, almost all of that sugar, no fat, and it just sneaks under 200 calories at 193.
