Whoa Momma is a very different functional food company that puts protein into familiar foods, although despite the most popular formats being bars, cookies, and chips, it hasn’t touched absolutely any of those. Whoa Momma makes pints of deliciously sweet and creamy protein ice cream with as much as 36g of the muscle-building macro per pot, and to really mix things up, its other snack is popcorn with 10g of protein and 270 calories a bag.
Next year, the one-of-a-kind functional innovator is adding to its selection with something more for the frozen side of its selection. Whoa Momma Protein Fruit Bars are what the team is lining up, made with the likes of pomegranate and blueberry, and providing 5g of protein per bar. The brand keeps them as clean as its popular protein ice cream, having no added sugar, and the calories are relatively guilt-free, coming in at only five per piece.
The Protein Fruit Bars are a fitting extension to the Whoa Momma family, as even though it is frozen, like its signature protein ice cream, it’s still a rare type of protein snack that has its own sort of individual twist. As mentioned, the brand is releasing its Protein Fruit Bars, or essentially Protein Pops, next year, and considering it has a variety of flavors for its ice cream, we imagine this will too; however, there is just one named so far in Super Reds.
