Vega has always been a nutrition-heavy supplement company, and as per the name, it is completely vegan-friendly. You have the brand’s meal replacement-style flagship, the cost-effective Essential Protein, a creatine-infused protein powder, and a few others. Again, Vega is nutrition-heavy with all of its products focusing on plant-based protein, until more recently, when it launched a pre-workout, and starting this month, it also has a creatine supplement.
Similar to many other mainstream-level brands, Vega has released its own bulk creatine, and it is as traditional as they come. The product is not flavored, conveniently put into stick packs, or squeezed into delicious-tasting gummies. Vega Creatine Monohydrate is a large, unflavored, half-kilogram tub of its title ingredients, working out to 100 servings at a full 5g dosage to support the usual creatine benefits of muscle strength, performance, and power.
The cost of Vega’s powder creatine is pretty damn competitive for a 500g tub at $29.99, or $25.49 on a three-month subscription, which is about when you’d run through that 100 servings. The brand also has capsules that aren’t as cost-effective at $19.99 for a bottle of 30 servings, each providing that same 5g of classic creatine monohydrate.
