Major Australian supplement company Muscle Nation has brought a rather intriguing twist to the clear and refreshing subcategory of protein powder with a spin-off series of its previously released Protein Water. The original product isn’t like your typical clear protein that relies entirely on whey; like many others down under in Australia, it is primarily collagen, which, together with some whey isolate, provides about 22g of protein per serving.
Moving on to the twist Muscle Nation has brought to the clear protein powder subcategory, it is an entire series of sour-style flavors. The brand recently released a Sour Cola, inspired by the classic sour cola bottle candy, which has quickly been followed by Sour Apple, Sour Watermelon, and Sour Grape. Together they make the Sour Series or you could classify it as a separate supplement, as Muscle Nation is referring to them as Sour Protein Water.
As far as we know, these supplements are not here for a limited time, especially now that there is a whole collection and not just Sour Cola.
