Yooday launches a dedicated protein powder with added BCAAs and glutamine

Yooday Whey Protein Powder

Supplement company Yooday in Malaysia has a new protein powder on the market this month, although it is most definitely not its first in the internationally popular category. The brand has named the innovation Yooday Whey, and it is worth noting whey is not the only source in there. The protein-to-calorie ratio is a bit higher than usual, but still plenty to separate it from Yooday’s other protein powder, the flagship high-protein meal replacement Yooday Matcha.

While the name of Yooday’s newest supplement is Whey, that is actually the secondary source of protein; the first is soy protein. Together, the soy and whey provide 24g of protein per serving, alongside 6g of carbohydrates, absolutely none of that sugar, a gram of fat, and a calorie count of just over 130. Again, the protein-to-calorie ratio is a bit higher than usual; however, it is still well within reason for a protein-based product, featuring all of the right ingredients for the job.

Yooday Whey does also have a few added BCAAs and glutamine, with no mention on whether they’re counted towards that protein total or not, plus caritine for metabolism, and DigeZyme to improve digestion. The supplement has debuted in one flavor to start with, a traditional chocolate, and in the brand’s home country of Malaysia, you can find Whey at around 219 RM (52.99 USD) for a reasonably sized 5lb tub, or thereabouts, with over 60 servings.
