Grong uniquely recreates Kahlua Milk for an Don Quijote exclusive flavor of protein powder

Grong Kahlua Whey Protein

Time and time again, we say how different and creative companies get when it comes to flavoring in international markets, especially in Asia, with major countries like Japan, Korea, and China. Grong is one of the notable names in Japan, which makes many traditional supplements like protein powder, amino acids, and creatine. The Basic Series Whey Protein is the brand’s core competitor in the busy protein category, and it has just been given a flavor that’s an industry-first as far as we know.

Grong has gone and recreated the intriguing cocktail Kahlua Milk, which is easily made of Kahlua coffee liqueur and creamy milk. While we’ve seen coffee in protein powder many times before, we haven’t seen it done like this. The brand’s Kahlua Milk Whey Protein comes with all of the same key ingredients and nutrition, providing 21g of complete protein from whey, moderate carbohydrates around 3 to 4g, very little sugar, low fat, and a typical calorie count landing around 115.

The all-new and very unique Kahlua Milk Whey Protein is not as easy to get your hands as any of Grong’s other flavors, as it has been made exclusive to the big box Japanese rateiler, Don Quijote. You can get it in large bags of 2kg, which is 4.4lbs, giving you plenty of servings.
