Half a million dollars of stolen SEEQ protein powder turns up at a warehouse in Illinois

Half A Million Dollars Of Seeq Protein Stolen

It’s not often sports nutrition supplements find their way into the mainstream media, and it’s even rarer if it doesn’t involve some sort of issue or negativity. This past week, the clear protein specialist SEEQ has done exactly that, and in one of the most entertaining situations possible. While this may sound like it’s made up, a theft took place where half a million dollars’ worth of protein powder was stolen, and it is from none other than SEEQ.

FOX 32 Chicago has reported that police found 25,000 pounds of stolen SEEQ Clear Whey Protein in a warehouse in Bridgeview, Illinois. It sounds like a killer marketing stunt that we could imagine many creative companies twisting around and making some noise out of it. This, however, the stolen stash of whey protein powder worth half a million dollars, did happen, as you can see for yourself and read about on FOX 32 Chicago’s website.

There isn’t any mention of who or why that amount of protein powder was stolen, which would be interesting to know, as it’s not the easiest thing to take and transport. Either way, it’s an interesting story that we couldn’t help but find entertaining, especially seeing as it ropes in one of the most known clear protein competitors in SEEQ.
