Last year, Red Bull took one of its past limited-time Winter Edition flavors and gave it permanent status, as we’ve seen it do many times before. The flavor was known by a few names depending on the country, as Iced Gummy Bear, Iced Cotton Candy, or Iced Vanilla Berry. The energy drink dominator made it ongoing in Europe as The Ice Edition, featuring that same memorable flavor profile with an icy blend of smooth vanilla and sweet berry.
Similar to Europe, Red Bull has now resurrected its former Winter Edition — Iced Vanilla Berry, as it was called here — and made it permanent in the US. The name differs slightly, as the ongoing option is called The Iced Edition rather than The “Ice” Edition. The overall concept and unique taste remain unchanged, and it is rolling out nationwide in both regular and better-for-you Sugarfree varieties across Red Bull’s classic 8.4oz and 12oz can sizes.
