Ripped Up differentiates its latest protein with a blend of whey and yeast

Ripped Up Nutrition Next Gen Whey Protein

Ripped Up Nutrition is pretty strong in the protein powder category, which is easily the most popular and common type of supplement in India. The brand has plenty of solutions available, with the likes of ISO-Rich, Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Pro, Muscle Whey, Nitro Whey, and 100% Raw Whey Protein; to say it has a lot of options is just scratching the surface. Ripped Up recently added another product to the space by way of Next Gen Whey Protein.

The point of difference with Ripped Up Nutrition’s Next Gen Whey Protein is that it combines classic whey concentrate with sustainable fermented yeast protein derived from saccharomyces cerevisiae. Together, the two sources provide a complete amino acid profile and a total of 26g of protein in a rather large 40g serving. The carbohydrates do get up there at 4g with practically none of that sugar, 2.3g of fat, and some pretty high calories, just over 160.

Ripped Up Nutrition’s Next Gen Whey Protein basically gives consumers a different source of protein, getting away from whey and milk and giving you a fair balance of fermented yeast and some traditional whey concentrate. The innovation comes in a moderate 1kg or 2.2lb bag at ₹2,299 (25.24 USD) with five flavors to choose from in Chocolate Ice Cream, Coconut Ice Cream, Toffee Fudge, Mango Ice Cream, and the local favorite Malai Kulfi.
