The Pro Series is Myprotein’s more premium selection of supplements, where you spend a bit more money than its standard product in exchange for a more in-depth selection of ingredients and dosages. The international brand’s high-end line already covers plenty of categories, and while it had yet to get into the world of superfoods, that all changes this week with The Performance Superfoods, a multi-purpose daily shake developed alongside athlete Ross Edgley.
While the name of The Performance Superfoods does tell the direction and category it takes, this is far from your standard fruits and vegetables powder supplement. There is a fair chunk of greens in the Myprotein innovation, weighing in at a combined 4g, and featuring the likes of spirulina, broccoli, kale, chlorella, and moringa leaf. While that does give reason for the name, there is a lot more to the product that puts it beyond almost every other superfood competitor.

Helping separate Myprotein’s The Performance Superfoods is 2g of betaine and a 3.4g dose of premium Creapure creatine monohydrate, supporting strength and performance. There is also 3g of glutamine, a hefty 900mg of lion’s mane for focus, 950mg of cordyceps, and electrolytes for a touch of hydration support. Rounding out the formula is 300mg of KSM-66 Ashwagandha for recovery, muscle growth, and hormone health, and lastly, AstraGin to ramp up absorption.
Myprotein’s Pro Series The Performance Superfoods is more of a daily muscle-building, performance, and recovery-enhancing supplement than it is a greens supplement. It does have greens in there, but everything alongside that trumps the core category. Myprotein even leaves room to double-dose for 6g of pure creatine and a full 600mg of KSM-66, which will halve the servings, but the overall price is not too bad at £19.99 (26.59 USD) for a tub of 24 regular servings.
