Battery Energy Drink already kicked off the year when it comes to flavor innovation with the self-explanatory, although still very different, Mandarin Tangerine. The Danish brand is chasing that up here in March with its second extension for the year, although this one is only here for a limited time. Unlike Mandarin Tangerine, though, this one isn’t based around Battery’s sugar-free recipe, so you’ll have to be okay with its high levels of sugar if you want to give it a try.
The newest flavor for the Battery Energy Drink is named Nova, combining sweet berry with an exotic twist of citrus likened to the fruit kalamanti or calamansi, which the brand best describes as a cross between kumquat and mandarin. The all-new and limited Nova Battery comes with the brand’s signature blend of B vitamins and 160mg of caffeine for energy, and again, it has a fair amount of calories at 230 from 54.5g of carbohydrates, all of that being sugar.
