Some of the most interesting and exciting collaborations come from when health and nutrition companies partner with outside-of-industry brands, even more so, those that don’t do your standard consumer-packaged-goods. Applied Nutrition is showing exactly that in its latest outing, where it has joined forces with Bombolone Doughnuts, a bakery that injects deliciously fluffy donuts with an Italian cream filling.
Tomorrow, the London Marathon is going down, and specifically for the prestigious event, Applied Nutrition and Bombolone Doughnuts have baked some soft, tasty donuts that have been injected with the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor of Critical Whey. The results are small, bite-sized balls with the addictive consistency of Bombolone’s signature treat and a solid 15g of protein from Critical Whey’s quality formula.
Again, Applied Nutrition and Bombolone Doughnuts have made the Critical Whey-infused treats for the London Marathon, so while nothing has been said about it being limited, we don’t imagine this will be around for long.
