Get-A-Way in India has quickly become one of the most creative companies in the world of frozen functional food, putting protein and low sugar into all sorts of different desserts and treats, some of which are mostly familiar in its home country. From ice cream sticks to decadent cheesecakes and mouthwatering cake slices, it has come a long way from the protein ice cream specialist it once was, but it has not let go of those memorable roots.
Here in the month of April, Get-A-Way has rolled out a new take on the traditional ice cream sandwich, separate from the rectangular ones we’d seen from it before. New to market in India is a Protein Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich, where you get two soft and crumbly cookies, one on each side of a rich and creamy protein ice cream. Altogether, it comes with 6g of protein, 19g of carbohydrates, 4g of that sugar, 5g of fat, and 163 calories.
While the macros aren’t supremely lean with light protein, the calories are reasonable, and the sugar is low, and there is no added sugar, making it a great better-for-you alternative to standard ice cream and ice cream sandwiches. The Get-A-Way functional innovation has debuted in one hell of a first flavor with Choco Brownie, an all-out chocolate lover’s experience, with chocolate cookies and a decadent chocolate protein ice cream.
