Complex Pump is Reckful’s take on the pre-workout subcategory of liquid glycerol supplements, although instead of coming in a bulk bottle of several servings, the Russian brand has it as a ready-to-drink product and not stimulant-free like most others either. There’s not a lot of caffeine at 100mg per bottle, so it has space to add another energizing supplement to the mix, but at the heart of it all is 10g of pump-powering glycerol, plus 6g of citrulline malate, beta-alanine, and arginine.
Reckful has now come out with another variety of Complex Pump, but it is not that bulk size or even a more traditional powder version. The Russian sports nutrition company has made a single-serving tear-and-go gel, Complex Pump, that has a lot of the same highlights. You still get that hefty hit of glycerol plus 4g of straight citrulline, not citrulline malate, a bit more beta-alanine at 2.5g to drive endurance, 1.5g of arginine, then finally, a stronger shot of caffeine at 150mg.
The Complex Pump Gel should make for a slightly more interesting experience, being a dense gel you can slide into your mouth, although it won’t be more convenient, as again, Reckful’s original is already a ready-to-drink supplement. There will be a few flavors for fans to choose from when the versatile innovation comes to market, and they are all light and fruit-based, with a sweet Raspberry, rich Blackberry, and a much more uncommon Gooseberry.
