AST may be keeping their Anabolic Rush replacement, AR-5, under wraps but they have released a new form of Beta-X. The extended release beta-alanine is not only available in a 100 caplet bottle, it now also comes in a 160g powder. With the 1g scoop it works out to be 160 servings per bottle. If this supplement runs for the same price as the original caplet version it will work out to be the better deal.
Since their servings contain equal amounts of the Beta-X Patented Formula, the new powdered form wins out with 60 more serves. Even though AST has one of the most researched beta alanine products on the market. It is the costly loading phase that tends to make this individual ingredient supplement a turn off. Hopefully with the new powdered version the price comes down a bit.
