Review of the peptide bonded BCAA Tri-Pep, Metabolic Nutrition’s latest put to the test

From Stack3d
Metabolic Nutrition Tri-Pep experience review

This supplement review has been a long time coming. When it comes to BCAA products like this one, we can’t exactly run it for a week and go off it’s experience. Purely because BCAA formulas offer results in strength, recovery, and growth, that can’t be seen instantly. For those who actually use a BCAA religiously, it’s actually quite difficult to notice the difference between a good and a bad one, unless of course it is really really good, or really really bad. In the case of Metabolic Nutrition’s latest release, Tri-Pep. We ran the formula for a month with people who were both regular and occasional BCAA users. Keep in mind we have not based our review on the research of peptide-bonded BCAAs, this review is purely based on our experiences and what we noticed in regards to results with the peptide bonded BCAA.

Firstly Tri-Pep tastes great, which actually comes as no surprise being made by Metabolic Nutrition. In saying that, there is one flavor that you will probably want to stay away from, and that is the grape variant. The others all deliver the fruity sensation their image sells on the cover, except for the extremely sour and bitter purple themed tub.

As for the results with Metabolic’s Tri-Pep, we have to say that they are as good as a regular BCAA supplement. We know that the ingredients are very different, however the effects were much the same. No added recovery, or boosted strength. In fact to really push the product on the third and final weeks, samples and scoops were tripled to see if it made any sort of difference. While it did make the unfortunate taste of Tri-Pep grape more concentrated than it needed to be. The results of the supplement if anything, were less. We could put that down to the easing in of the product, seeing as it was 14 days in to the use of it. However the extra servings in no way amplified the benefits of the BCAA for us.

Unique supplements are always good to see, even more so when they are one of a kinds, or first to the market. Unfortunately despite it’s hyped up formula, Metabolic Nutrition’s Tri-Pep seemed like it was more show than go. The tastes on the majority of the options were quite impressive, but we do not use products for their flavoring. It is a nice bonus if it goes down well, however results are more important to us. Something that we did not see any of in Tri-Pep, or at least enough to justify purchasing it over your average cost effective BCAA.
