While we may have only just seen the endurance based brand GU Energy introduce flavor number eight, for their edible performance treat GU Chomps. The brand are already back at it with another option for their flagship GU Gel. The latest from GU actually comes from Gumocracy, a campaign the brand ran back in February giving fans the opportunity to have their say in what would be GU’s next flavor. The prize for the taste selected was not just the glory of being produced, but to be titled the official flavor of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series. The variant that won over fans was salted watermelon, beating out apple cinnamon and caramel macchiato. The new GU Flavor has now been made available, and as always is already in stock and ready to purchase from the brand’s direct store.
