Protein Wars II Grand Final, the rematch MTS Machine Vs. Cellucor Cor Whey

Protein Wars II Grand Final, the rematch MTS Machine Vs. Cellucor Cor Whey

Last week was definitely not short on drama as Marc Lobliner, the man behind MTS Nutrition was questioning the legitimacy of his opponent’s votes. We investigated the situation as quickly as we could, and based on the information we had at the time, didn’t see anything wrong. Later however we did get our hands on IP addresses, Facebook data and exact times for each and every vote, which brought to our attention some extremely suspicious activity. On closer inspection both us and Woobox believed a fair amount of votes to be spam, all going the way of Muscletech. For example a large amount of Facebook users had voted from a single IP address, in a very short period of time, with almost none of the users being from the country the IP address pointed to. To be fair we decided to just exclude the suspicious votes which thanks to Marc’s consistent effort throughout the week, saw Machine Whey come out on top. As per usual Cellucor did pull out a come from behind victory defeating MAN and Pure PF3, despite being behind almost the whole way. We did of course check the votes in that battle too, and will continue to do so for the grand final. After all the dust has cleared it appears we have a rematch on our hands with MTS Machine Whey, once again taking on Cellucor’s Cor Whey. Like last week we will be turning the vote totals on and off across the duration of the two week final. The only thing we have left to say is may the most supported, loved and above all, popular protein powder win.
