Simple start to 2015 for Detour as they tease their clean ingredient protein bars

Simple start to 2015 for Detour as they tease their clean ingredient protein bars

Detour have confirmed their first new release for 2015, with another edible addition to their well known range of protein bars. The name of the upcoming product is Simple, a one word title that attempts to communicate the idea of the supplement. In short the product has been designed as a “clean ingredient” protein bar, promoting highlights such as non GMO, nothing artificial and gluten free. Making up the label of Detour’s Simple is 20g of protein, with whey concentrate and calcium caseinate as its two main sources. Between 22 to 25g of carbohydrates (4-7g sugar, 6g fiber), 5 to 8g of fat (3-4g saturated), and between 210 to 230 calories. The ranges are listed due to the fact that the macros marginally vary from flavor to flavor for Detour’s Simple, which has three tastes to choose from caramel peanut, chocolate chip caramel and salted caramel cookie dough. It is also worth mentioning that of the three, salted caramel does differ slightly more than the others as it’s headlined by three protein sources with the third being whey isolate. For now Detour are only teasing their Simple set of bars as coming soon, something that can be seen on the brand’s somewhat dedicated Simple section. Where you can also sign up to Detour’s email service and be in the loop on updates when they come in.
